Clarification in the Exchange of WOS Currency notes limit Rs 4000/ per person from 10.11.2016 to 24.11.2016

Please go through the underlined instruction mentioned in SB order 12/2016 carefully and act accordingly.

 

SB Order 12/2016
The limit of exchange of WOS notes in HO/SO from 10.11.2016 to 24.11.2016 is Rs.4000/- per person against production of copy  of valid id proof .It should not be understood as limit of per person per day.
All are requested to put the following instructions in the public notice board to avoid rush and instruct the public.

 

PUBLIC NOTICE

The limit of exchange of WOS (Withdrawn Old Series) notes in Head Post Offices/Sub Post Offices from 10.11.2016 to 24.11.2016 is Rs.4000/- per person against production of copy of valid id proof . It should not be understood as limit of per person per day.

Those who are already exchanged their WOS currency notes up to Rs 4000/- are requested to not standing in the Q for exchanging for one more time. This will not be entertained as per RBI guidelines.

ஒருவர் 14.11.2016 முதல் 24.11.2016 வரை பழைய (500, 1000) நோட்டுக்களை Rs 4000/-  வரை ஒருமுறை மற்றுமே மாற்றிக் கொள்ள முடியும். அவ்வாறு மாற்றிக் கொண்டுவிட்டால் தயவு செய்து Q-வில் நிற்க வேண்டாம் என கேட்டுக் கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.
